1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Mindchart.ai ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. About the Service

Mindchart.ai is a web-based software-as-a-service platform that lets users generate, edit, and export mind maps and related content ("Content").

3. Eligibility & Account Security

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You're responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with 30 days' e-mail notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All software, trademarks, and site design remain the exclusive property of Mindchart.ai. You retain ownership of the mind maps you create; you grant us a limited licence to host and process that Content solely to provide the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• reverse-engineer or decompile the Service;
• upload malware or infringing/illegal Content;
• use automated means to scrape, index, or data-mine our platform;
• interfere with other users or our servers.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may link or integrate with third-party tools (e.g., cloud storage). Your use of those tools is governed solely by their terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mindchart.ai and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits, even if advised of the possibility.

10. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold Mindchart.ai harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Heilbronn, unless a mandatory statutory venue applies.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect 30 days after we post them or e-mail you.
